MARTIAN MOON EXPLORATION -

* The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency ( JAXA) On Tuesday Launched A Rocket Towards Mars

* Mission Termed As MARTIAN MOONS EXPLORATION ( MMX)

* Aims To STUDY The Origin Of The Martian Moon Phobos And Deimos

* Named After The Son Of The Greek God Of War, Ares ( Who Is Termed As Roman Name MARS)

* The Mission Aims To Retrieve 10 Grams Of Physical Samples From Phobos And Return Them To Earth By 2031

* Phobos And Deimos Was First Discovered By American Astronomer Asaph Hall In 1877

* This Mission Will Allow It To Remain Close To the Moon While Conducting Observation Of It's Topography And Chemical Composition

* The MMX Spacecraft Is Made Up Of Three Main Modules - Propulsion, Exploration, Sample Return
*  NVS -03 The Third Satellite Of The 2nd Generation NVS Series, Intended To Augment The NAVIC Constellation And Support Continuity Of Navigation Services
* Bengaluru Space Startup Pixxel Has Set Up Pixxel Federal

NVS-03 -

* INDIAN SPACE RESEARCH ORGANISATION ( ISRO) HAS LAUNCHED THE GSLV -F18 ON 30TH OCTOBER 2026 AT 2ND LAUNCH PAD AT SHAR ( NAVIC )

* INDIA'S OWN GPS

* GSLV -F18 IS THE 20TH FLIGHT OF INDIA'S GSLV

* THIS WILL PLACE NVS -03 SATELLITE INTO GEOSYNCHRONOUS TRANSFER ORBIT.

* NVS -03 IS THE THIRD SATELLITE IN NEXT GENERATION NAVIGATION SATELLITE SYSTEM FOR IRNSS SERIES.

* THIS SATELLITE CARRIES INDIGENOUS ATOMIC CLOCK

* ALSO CARRYING L1 SIGNAL WHICH COVERS INDIAN LAND & MASS UPTO 1500 KM ( GEOPOLITICAL BOUNDARY)

NavIC -

* Navigation With Indian Constellation

* It Is The Operational Name For Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System ( IRNSS)

* NavIC Is Similar To GPS ( GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM)

* ISRO Has Launched 11 Navigation Satellite Since 2013 ( 6 Satellite Have Failed)

* To Provide Positioning Data , a Navigation Satellite Uses Atomic Clock To Precisely Measure The Time It Takes For a Signal To Travel To And From An Object To Earth

* The First IRNSS -1 Launched In 2013 ( With Three Other Satellites) Which Is Actually Not Placed In Earth Orhbit ( AS tHE Shield Protected The SAtellite From Heat Was Unable Open Thatswhy Failed)
