* ARTICLE 54 - Election Through Electoral College Consisting Of Elected Members Of Both Houses Of Parliament And State Legislative Assemblies.

a) Uniform Representation Of States, Election  Held Through Proportional Representation By Means Of Single Transferable Voting System, Secret Ballot.

* ARTICLE 62 - Election To Be Completed Before The Expiration Of The Term Of President. 

Election To Be Held Within 6 Months From Occurrences Of Vacancy Due To Death, Resignation Or Removal.
